Even when I took a seasonal job last winter that was completely unrelated to film or television, I spent most of the interview being asked about that particular job. To people here in the Midwest it's just interesting to hear about what making a short film is like, but to people in the industry it shows that you've at least gotten your feet wet and might have some idea of how to handle yourself during a production.
So, you may be asking yourself why I am rambling about a job I worked almost a year ago. Well, it seems that the trailer for Noodling has just been released.
Not only was working on this crew one of the most labor intensive production jobs I ever had, but it was also one of the funnest, mostly due to the great people involved. It's nice to see that the project is finally starting to come full circle and the hard work of many people is finally going to come to fruition.

Had to watch this trailer at work with no sound, at the end when the guy was standing in the boat I imagine the Jaws theme was playing as Catfishasor was rising out of the water to devour his next victim.

ReplyDeleteGlad you are getting work out of this project. You put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this show. I appreciated it. To this day, you and Tony are some of the most dedicated crew I've ever had the pleasure to work with. I only wish I could hire you on my LA shows.

ReplyDeleteBut seriously, definitely one of my favorite working experiences to date. I still call it 'the job that made college seem pointless', because I learned more in that week than I did in 5 years of school.
